means responding to two major challenges: the climate emergency and population growth. Through this goal, we join the Avril mission which reaffirms its power to act, through six concrete commitments, supporting agricultural, food and environmental transitions.
We act for an agriculture that protects the planet.
Because we believe in agriculture that feeds people and respects the planet, we are committed to being a bridge with farmers, enabling dialogue and proposing solutions for healthy nutrition and fair compensation for farmers' work.
We act to protect natural resources and biodiversity.
Because we will continue to import agricultural raw materials that cannot be produced locally and that come from countries at risk of deforestation or conversion of threatened ecosystems, we have committed to 100% of our palm and soy supply being from sustainable crops by 2023.
We act for the development of local industry.
Because we want to maintain the dynamism of regions, we are committed to accelerating the development of local supply chains in all our areas of activity. Starting with 2025, we are committed to 100% of our edible oils being manufactured using local raw materials, when available at national level.
We act for the footprint of our investments.
Because we want to have a positive impact on territories and the environment, we are committed to ensuring that by 2030, 100% of our investments, whether industrial or financial, will be based on economic, environmental and social criteria.

Because we support the United Nations goal of limiting global warming to 2°C, integrated into the Paris Agreements, we have committed to reducing all our direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030.
